About This Game

Stitched is a horror adventure game that strings together the thrilling story of Catherine Stockholmes, an otherwise ordinary girl. The story begins with Catherine waking up in an eerie doll factory. With a great desire to escape, Catherine is forced to venture through the factory. But little does she know that terrible fates always befall the curious ones. Will Catherine muster enough courage to needle her way out of the factory? Or will she fall into sheer despair and perish?




Catherine Stockholmes: An 18 year old girl with a sweet and honest personality. She was diagnosed with a serious heart condition at a young age. Her symptom will worsen whenever she is frightened. This can potentially lead to her passing out or worse, death.



Doll: A mysterious doll that displays a calm and stoic expression. She seems to know more about the incident that occurred in the doll factory than she lets on.



Boy: A strange but simple boy who is constantly searching for his missing parents. He seems to be seeking for more than just his parents...

Good game, but I'm sad that the last part is soo much run away from dolls... That's really frustrating. And I personally don't like the endings much. There are to much things that have only a very short description.

But I had fun to play it! I really like Indie/RPG Maker Horrorgames here on steam! This one has good graphic and sound, the controles are easy and good. For my taste it's only a bit to much darkness in the roomes. I like to walk around and look at all things so sometimes it was a bit hard to orientate for me.

At least I can say, it's not the best game like this on steam, but it's a good one! If you like games like this you can buy and enjoy it!. While this game was kinda cute on the outside, it's A bit of a isappointment. This game is full of puzzles and clues, but it seems to fall flat on the plot, as if the final parts of the game were rushed and pushed together haphazardly. Over all it's a good idea, bad execution.. I enjoyed it at first, but the chase sequences ruin the entire thing. For some reason they decided that when you've got a huge monster coming toward you, your character would suddenly start arguing with you about which way to go. You try to go into a room and she'll stop dead in her tracks and say "no, not that way" while the monster is still chasing you giving it time to catch up and kill you. On top of that your health is constantly getting drained by stepping in blood you can't see until you're only one space away from it. So even if you find the right way to go you end up dying anyway because you don't have time to avoid all the blood on the floor.. A simple puzzle game with really good artwork and haunting story. It's deffently worth your time an money.
The puzzle arn't verry hard but they require some thought and have a good verity.
It's got fantastic art throughout and constantly changes itself up to keep in interesting. It dose a good job of not letting you get lost but establish a nice art.
It would be scarry except there isn't too many charecters so you never really feel like anyone is in any danger. If I had any sugestion for the devs is to add a couple more charecters so that when you run into a severed head it'll have more of an impact when you knew that charecter.. I'd recommend this game if you're into RPG Maker horror games, but it's quite rough around the edges in a lot of ways, especially gameplay-wise.

The story is pretty good for the most part, namely the concept, and I'm a fan of the music, atmosphere, and puzzles. Not too much to complain about here, aside from some corny parts of the story, and one or two questionable puzzle solutions, but for the most part I had a good time with it. Big fan of the atmosphere, and the whole doll idea.

Gameplay-wise, my biggest complaint are the randomly roaming dolls that can kill you in seconds if you get cornered, which is difficult to avoid at times due to their unpredictable and sudden movements. Another one was blood stains that are difficult to see, but it's not a huge issue. There are some other specific points with poor gameplay design, the biggest one to me being the big bear chasing you towards the end, how out of the blue it starts going faster part way through the chase, and you basically have to use speed pills. Maybe I needed runners on, but it didn't occur to me that I'd need them, and it didn't give any signal beforehand that I'd noticed that I'd need to put on the runners.

Another complaint was the way it deals with resolution, I had to set my monitor to 1024x768 resolution in order for it to look good in full screen (because you don't play horror games windowed if you care about the atmosphere at all). Was overall a bit wonky and it took me a bit to figure out what to do, but after figuring out the resolution thing I had no complaints. Though I imagine people with at least 1080p monitors might complain more about this issue.

If you can get past some rough parts gameplay-wise, it's certainly worth giving a shot, especially at its decent enough price. For me, the overall feel of it was worth playing, I'm a sucker for dark horror atmospheres.. Let me start by noting that the subject/story/art of this game is quite good, from what I was able to make myself play through the horrible mechanic mistakes/deficiencies:

1) When started, the game loads in window mode (which doesn't align the view properly, and partially cuts it off), which is a deal breaker for a creepy themed game. *Note: This is not a tragedy*, because there IS fullscreen mode, but you don't find out about this until you start the game, because there is no indication of such a feature on the title screen.

And the reasons I refunded this game:

2) Once you enable fullscreen, it's bogus. I cannot understand how you could not have stretched the view to true fullscreen, rather than just fill up the screen space with black. Really annoying on high resolutions; no excuse for a game released after 1997.

3) WASD movement controls are very standard in games like this (expecially when mouse is an option). This game uses those buttons for item hotkeys (some consumable, making for super annoying re-training of standard keyboard usage). and...

4) I tried to change the controls, and the control mapping screen makes no sense. And even if I tried harder to decipher it, definitely doesn't allow you to set WASD for movement.

*Conclusion:* I know a lot of work and passion must have gone into this game, and it definitely could be good, which is why it's a shame that such sloppy basic mechanical mistakes and details ruined it.. This is a very good story driven indie game. The atmosphere reflects the story very well. The story is good and grasps you early in the game. One of the biggest pluses is the creators listen and keep making the game better. If you like horror stories and puzzles it's highly recommended .. Would be fun, I imagine, if it didn't cut off the bottom third of the screen upon launch.. Just purchased this game and i have to say, this game is DOPE! If you have 8$ to spend this game provides HOURS of enjoyment!. A good game if you like puzzle solving (not so difficult but enjoyable) :)

- 10/21/2018 Hotfix: Addressed an issue with the screen turning completely black after a hiding segment
- Updated blood mechanics
- Made adjustment to several areas with dolls
- Made minor improvement on a few icons
- Made several changes toward the end of the game
- Added more area to explore
- Added additional notes to the game
- Other minor bug fixes and tweaks
